Our dynamic team takes great pride in our experience showing visitors our beautiful country, Namibia. All the guides are well trained and have both experience and knowledge to help with any information needed about Namibia and will gladly assist you.
Meet Eben Gurirab – Founder and Managing Director of Khoisan Tours and Safaris.
Originally from Khorixas in Damaraland, he moved to Swakopmund to find better opportunities in life.
He did a few other jobs before he joined the tourism industry, where he started as a tour guide taking tourists to the township.
Eben loves meeting different travellers coming to Swakopmund. He enjoys showing them around, explaining about the area, the Namibian traditional cultures, how people live, etc.
He says:
“I enjoy showing the visitors around our beautiful country. It feels so right because I am a very proud Namibian, and I love my country– the Land of the Brave – so much.
When I realized that I had found my passion and that this was the job I wanted to do forever, I started dreaming of setting up my own company, and in 2007 the dream came true: Khoisan Tours and Safaris was born.”

Very fun experience!
My brother and I took up sandboarding one afternoon while staying at Swakopmund with Khoisan Tours and we had an absolute blast!
Romeo, our instructor, was very patient with us and was able to teach us everything we needed to know about sandboarding. We started mid-dune and as we learned more on turning, stopping, etc., we made our way to the top of the dune. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend.
